This song completely speaks to my heart and is really how I have come to know Jesus. He is my guru, my teacher, my guide. When I look at him, I see the face of God, the face of the beloved through him. Differing from orthodox Christianity, he does not sit and want my worship and to be content with that. Rather he wants me to be as he is. This is the message of the Gospel of Thomas to me.
